We read the contract between the supplier and buyer and make a verification so that after that there will be no claim of goods.. 🔸Does Polytrade makes NFTs out of each individual invoice? We are very proud to say that we created a new standard of Tokenization, ERC-6960. It allows a buyer to fractionalize any asset they wan to buy. Prior to 6960, tokenization was performed with ERC-20, where a million tokens represents, one million units of an asset. But with 6960, a DLT, having a primary Layer representing the asset and a secondary Layer where a user can determine the fraction of the asset they want to purchase. So with ERC-6960, a user can purchase their fraction, say 33.7% while the rest of the asset in it's full integrity is left on the RWA Marketplace for others to buy in any fraction they choose. 🔸How big are these invoices? Our largest invoice currently is $80,000. 🔸Hi-Yield can work with Polytrade to aggregate invoices and lower the risks associated by offering more investment options.

Hi-Yield x Polytrade AMA Did you miss out on the boundary-breaking AMA? Here's the Transcript to give you a grasp of the pillar points discussion. The space was also recorded. I recommend you listen to it to capture the nitty gritty that were unveiled by our CEO. Listen here 🔸Hi-Yield Introduction. Co-founder, Scott Smiley (aka Benny Options) - HiYield aggregates the world's capital markets on-chain, offering a wide range of vetted investment opportunities across various asset classes. 🔸Polytrade Introduction. Founder & CEO, Piyush Gupta - Using Blockchain Infrastructure to improve transparency and democratise access to high-value asset classes. QnA Q by HiYield, Benny Options A by Polytrade, Piyush Gupta 🔸How is Polytrade Democratising access to high-value financial instruments? Polytrade has launched our RWA Marketplace, and we've done $5m in volume in the past few years. Despite the bear market, our team are believers of blockchain technology. Our focus is accumulating more RWA Assets. By Democratising access, we mean that someone in Uganda can purchase tokenized high yielding Walmart invoices in Asia, hence giving them the power to choose what fraction they're interested in. 🔸Can you walk through the process of what trade finance is and how it helps society? For instance, a small auto components manufacturing company in Vietnam sells to a large OEM e.g BMW, and being a large company, BMW intends to pay their outstanding invoice in 90 days, this is called an Open Account Trade - The larger buyer dictates when they'll pay for goods received. The small manufacturer cannot afford the 90-day wait because it has operational costs to finance, so it resorts to finance the BMW invoice from a bank. Banks do this poorly because of lack historical data, transparency, lack of collateral amongst others. Polytrade funds the invoice for the small manufacturer and to make sure BMW settles their outstanding debt, Polytrade takes credit insurance per adventure BMW goes bankrupt. 🔸Would you day that one of the main reasons this opportunity exists is because banks and emerging markets don't take invoices as collateral? One of the main reasons of trade finance existence is that banks globally do not do non-recourse finance - simply means regardless of why you need to borrow money from a bank, they won't lend without collateral. The invoice is not enough collateral for banks. 🔸How is invoice selection done? Underwriting. Polytrade does a lot of programmable underwriting where a lot of data is captured digitally. These underwritings are not manually biased. It's done this way for a couple of reasons. 1. There are lot of scams amd frauds from emerging markets. 2. In web3 space today, the custody space is lacking players. Polytrade is trying to work with trustees and custodians because they don't understand the concept of NFTs. In the BMW example sited above, it is the duty of custodians to ensure that BMW settles their invoice on the agreed due date so that Polytrade (or investors through Polytrade revive their returns in profit). 🔸Has Polytrade worked with traditional debt service firms? Yes, so far Polytrade worked with traditional debt servicing firms, from Singapore. We aim to expand beyond as the market volume of the RWA Marketplace increases. 🔸What factors are used to determine a bad invoice and what are the default risk factors? 1. A major risk is invoice refinancing - a situation where one invoice gets funded by multiple parties. Using the ongoing illustration, the easiest way to solve this is to go to BMW, and get a notice of assignment signed in your favour. 2. Polytrade will finance invoices only if the (SME) manufacturer has worked with the buyer (BMW) for a minimum of 2 years. 3. The buyers insurance coverage. This helps us know that the buyers creditworthiness is up to the mark. 🔸Is the Insurance on Bankruptcy specific on the buyer or not paying the Invoice?
